Senior Data Scientist/ML Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist or Machine Learning(ML) Engineer. to join our growing Data & AI team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis. Proven track record of delivering ML and data-driven solutions. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems, build predictive models, and drive actionable insights. 

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, test, implement and optimize machine learning models for different data types(Images, Videos,  Text). 
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and insights. 
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
• Design and maintain data pipelines for efficient data collection, processing, and analysis. 
• Perform advanced statistical analysis and create visualizations to communicate findings effectively. 
• Conduct A/B testing to evaluate model performance and optimize business outcomes. 
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and machine learning technologies, including generative AI (LLMs, Agentic AI). 
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in data science.

• Someone with a strong background in Image Processing, data analysis, statistical modeling, and cloud platforms.
• A collaborative team player who can work with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver actionable insights.

Essential Skills: 

• Education: Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. 
• Experience: 5-7 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or a similar role. 
• Technical Skills:  
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
  • Strong experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, Deepface TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Expertise in SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Expertise with computer vision tools (e.g., HuggingFace Transformers, )
  • Expertise with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
  • Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimental design.
  • Knowledge of generative AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI.

Nice-to-Haves:  

• Experience in deploying machine learning models into production environments. 
• Knowledge of deep learning techniques and natural language processing (NLP). 
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools.
